Almost there !!

 

Our project is coming close to a completion. Major construction is completed. Ongoing is the electrical wiring and then light fixtures and soon we will commence painting the building and tiling the floors. This majestic building will house a Hindu based kindergarten school, sant kutir (accommodation for any visiting pandit / swami), computer room and library, guest rooms for visitors, a meditation / lecture hall (Saraswati Hall), kitchen with dining facilities.

 

We are hoping by Sri Krishna's grace to have the grand opening on Sunday 2nd September and then on Monday, Sept. 3rd  we will commence a grand Srimad Bhagvat Katha for 7 days, conducted by Pandit Rajin Balgobind. Katha will be at night and during the day various activities will be held, such as a free medical camp for 2 days, yoga classes, youth conference, motivational speakers, lectures on alcoholism, depression etc.

 

We are very much interested in anyone who can volunteer his/her time in any of the fields above. We are inviting persons in the health sector and eductators to volunteer their time. For seva (selfless service) is the rent we pay for living on earth. You are welcome to come and contribute in whatever way for the betterment of society.

 

We would like to sincerely thank all of our supporters and all are invited to come for the opening. Please start booking your time off and vacation. You are invited to come and spend some time in Berbice, a county that is famous for it's hospitality.
