|Pandit Prakash Gossai
was the greatest exponent of Sant Tulsidas's Sri Ram Charitramaanas to ever emerge from the West Indies. Pandit ji managed to inspire thousands traveling from continent to continent, country to country, city to city, village to village thru his messages of Ram Katha. His discourses on the Ramayan were spiritually uplifting, touching the inner core of every being. Pandit ji shared with the world his love for God (Sri Ram) thru his many bhajans and kathas. He was a legendary teacher. A committed promoter of the values of Sanatan Dharma that transcends religion.
Truly, some come on earth to leave only their foot prints on the sands of the beach to be washed away by the water of the waves, but then there are those personalities who leaves their imprints on the hearts of man forever to be cherished.
Pandit ji's passing is a catastrophic loss for the Hindu community. We extend our sincere condolence to his family, his father, children, siblings, and many disciples.
Pandit ji's legacy will live on if we can recall the words of Albert Einstein:
"Our death is not an end if we can live on in our children and the younger generation. For they are us, our bodies are only wilted leaves on the tree of life."
May his soul be one with the supreme:
