Holi 2008 was celebrated in grand style by Sri Krishna Mandir. It all started on Vasant Panchami day with the traditional planting of the Holi and 40 days later on the full moon night of March 21st, it was set ablaze recreating the scene of Holika dahan (the destruction of the evil minded Holika) and the glory of Prahaladji Maharaj.

Sri Krishna Mandir hosted on it's television program Amar Jyoti two and half hours of live call in Phagwah special. Viewers from all walks of life called in to wish their family, friends and the entire country Guyana happy holi.

Truly the air was festive and devotees celebrated in the name of our Bhagwan Sri Krishna. We pray for the welfare of our country and the world at large.
